Recreational Therapy
The caregivers at Saint Mary Manor are committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents with a carefully designed recreation program. Recreation provides residents the opportunity to explore life in the social, spiritual, cognitive and physical domains. A large variety of activities, such as music programs, arts and crafts, trivia games and the ever popular Bingo are a fundamental part of the leisure experience here at Saint Mary Manor. Emphasis is placed on supporting the self-reliance and dignity of residents as well as filling their lives with joy.
Our staff of experienced, committed, recreation professionals continually craft programs based on the resident's needs and desires. We encourage residents to strengthen their sense of autonomy by providing the availability of self-directed activities. We seek to create an environment for spiritual growth and discovery, enabling residents to find meaning in the twilight of their lives.
